  • Ultimaker Nylon

Used by many manufacturers worldwide, Nylon (polyamide) is well-known for its impressive durability, high strength-to-weight ratio, flexibility, low friction, and corrosion resistance. With its ability to withstand significant mechanical stress, Nylon is a great choice for 3D printing tools, functional prototypes, and end-use parts.

From simple prototypes to complex aerospace components, Nylon is embraced by engineers and manufacturers worldwide for an array of applications that require impact and abrasion resistance.

    • Industrial-grade impact and abrasion resistance
    • Durable
    • High strength-to-weight ratio
    • Low friction coefficient
    • Good corrosion resistance to alkalis and organic chemicals
    • Reduced humidity absorption when compared to other Nylon filaments
    • Seamless 3D printing experience
    • Prints in dual extrusion with PVA or Breakaway on Ultimaker 3
  • Ultimaker PLA

Ultimaker PLA (polylactic acid) filament provides a no-hassle 3D printing experience thanks to its reliability and good surface quality. Our PLA is made from organic and renewable sources. It’s safe, easy to print with and it serves a wide range of applications for both novice and advanced users.

PLA is the preferred choice for primary and secondary schools because it’s safe and easy to print with.

    • Good tensile strength
    • Good surface quality
    • Easy to work with at high print speeds
    • User-friendly for both home and office environments
    • Allows the creation of high-resolution parts
